The SST Runtime provides communication, diagnostics and non-volatile memory services, configured straight from the SST model. The model holds the architecture, signals, NvM and bus configuration; the runtime is generated to match.

Your engineers write the functions; SST generates the interfaces and configuration that connect them. The RTE headers and static configuration tables come from the model, so the runtime always matches the architecture you designed.

The AUTOSAR suites bring their own runtime with them, and the first tool decision picks it for the life of the program. With SST the runtime is a deployment choice: the same model exports to AUTOSAR, Linux, Android or the SST Runtime.

Where the SST Runtime stands
The SST Runtime is demonstrated on a host and on a TriCore simulator. It is designed for ISO 26262 ASIL D, with a certification path under discussion with independent assessment bodies. Target hardware and certification are on our roadmap.
It can replace the AUTOSAR base software end to end; production hardening is a joint program. Tool qualification evidence for generated artifacts (ISO 26262-8) is part of the joint production program.
